Kitchen Fun: This camp teaches kitchen basics and gives you child the tools to feel comfortable working in the kitchen. We’ll be working on measuring, mixing, working at the stove, using the ovens, and possibly even a little bit of knife work with small paring knives by the end of the week. Menu planning includes Beach Foods, Picnic Foods, Pizza Night, Cupcakes and Easy Baked Goods, and Diner Delights.
Around the World: Pull out your passport and let’s travel around the world, if only with our bellies! We will prepare foods from a different country each day of the week. This year our journey includes foods from France, England, Greece, and Mexico.
Cook Like a Celebrity Chef: Kids and teens love the cooking shows! This week we’ll not only prepare foods from some of your kid’s favorite tv cooking star’s cookbooks, but we’ll finish off the week by taping our own version of a cooking show. Lights, camera, let’s get cooking!
Around the Clock: We’ll focus on meals served at different times of day in this fun camp. We’ll feast on Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, Dinner, and Midnight Snack.
Culinary Techniques: This camp, for teens only, focuses on learning solid culinary technique. We will spend each day building on the skills learned the previous day. We’ll start with knife skills, then work our way into learning to sauté, then braise. We’ll also spend a day learning basic baking and finish off the week with a Kitchen Studio-style Iron Chef competition.

All camps are limited to 10 participants and include one chef/instructor and one Kitchen Assistant. You can also call at 301-663-6442 to register by phone. All camps are filled on a first come, first served basis.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be made at least one calendar month before the first day of your child’s camp. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.
No refunds, credits, or camp rescheduling will be allowed for cancellations made after this time. Cancellations made at least one month prior to the camp will be refunded minus a $50 cancellation fee.Allergy Notice: The Kitchen Studio, LLC is NOT an allergy safe environment.
